Bracts consistently pink that do not fade in warm spring temps. outstanding clean foliage.

Zone 5-8, grows 10′ in 8 years

Zone 5 – 9, Height 17’, Spread 14’. Blooms white, foliage has green leaves with bright yellow margins.

At first the bracts form a deep cut and have a greenish tinge, but they flatten out and become fully white in a few days. The bracts are rounded, well textured, and slightly overlap. Mature height approximately 20-23’’.

Cherokee Brave dogwood has features well distinguished and superior to other Cornus florida’s. This variety has a new growth that is burgundy red turning a dark rich green with age.

The most distinguishing characteristics of this tree are the blooms with 12 – 20 bracts and the uniform white color of its flowers. Far exceeds growth of Cornus florida ‘Plena’.

New sport from Cherokee Brave. Fabulous variegation of white/green and burgundy juvenile foliage. Bloom bracts are red same as Cherokee Brave. Awesome fall color as soon as nights cool down.

Zone 5-9, height 15-25 feet, spread 10-20 feet. Dark green thick cuticle makes the foliage very desirable. Flowers profusely.

An introduction made by Jim Schmidt in Oregon P9.283. It boasts a deep red bloom. We have waited a long time for this superb selection.

Blooms are stiff with overlapping white bracts and clefts that are colorless. Resistant to powdery mildew.

An extremely vigorous cultivar of Cornus kousa. Leaves are rounded showing strong vein formation and are large. New growth shows tinges of red turning to dark green with age. Blooms are medium pink.

A rare dwarf red flowering dogwood, growing no higher than three feet during the first five years with a mature height of approximately seven feet after ten years. Flower bracts are abundant, with deep pink–red flowers that are the size of standard dogwoods, three plus inches in diameter. Zoned 6A.

A new introduction by Rutgers. Growth habit, dense, branched low to ground, forms a rounded head slightly wider than tall. Dense foliage, summer dark glossy green, Fall shades of red. Blooms light to medium pink. Insect and disease resistant.

A new variegated Chinese Dogwood; Samaritan is an offspring of Cornus kousa “Milky Way”. Samaritan™ has handsome variegated creamy-white and green foliage that remains attractive all summer and in the fall it takes on radiant pink and rich burgundy hues.

Originated as a seedling at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, Cincinnati OH. Parent plant at cemetery is approx. 50 years old and is 26′ tall and 35′ wide. Blooms white (late April), medium green eaves in summer, reddish purple fall foliage. Zone 4.

Very vigorous grower. The flower heads have rounded, overlapping bracts that are soft pink in color. They are sessile, nearly rounded to obviate with short, acute tip and tapered base.

A new introduction by Rutgers, Variegated Stellar Pink™ is a tremendous grower. Resistant to mildew and borers, (our observation) same blush pink flower.
